Why We Started
Chronic illness and ongoing health challenges often mean hours on the phone, chasing referrals, managing insurance claims, and coordinating multiple providers. Too often, patients are left feeling unheard, unsupported, and exhausted.
This is the story of our founder, Cora Hajicek, who began battling unknown chronic symptoms at the age of 24. Knowing that the best way to get a diagnosis was to diligently track her symptoms, she created systems, charts, and processes to keep her care organized and accessible.
After joining support groups, Cora realized that countless other chronically ill patients echoed the same frustration she had: managing a chronic illness is a full-time job.
That is when Cora decided to open Chronic Corner & Co. to help others, like her, who suffered from the overwhelming weight of medical management. By transforming her personal struggles into practical solutions, she built a service that empowers patients to take back their time, energy, and peace of mind.
